Polar Green LLC is a social entrepreneurship company that seeks to promote intellectual and technological solutions to design issues that face our environment. The transfer of critical information that impacts society is our main focus. Innovative solutions is our objective working with professional organizations, not-for-profits, educational institutions and governmental agencies. It is our belief that the transfer of knowledge will promote change through both high and low technology solutions. We promote social entrepreneurship through product development, design competitions, demonstration projects, research forums and best-practice examples as a means for solutions.

Social Entrepreneurship is a modern way of working in the business environment. A social entrepreneur recognizes a problem and uses entrepreneurial principles to organize, create and manage a venture to achieve change (a social venture). While a business entrepreneur typically measures performance in profit and return, a social entrepreneur focuses on creating social capital. Thus, the main aim of social entrepreneurship is to further solutions that impact society.

Social entrepreneurs are individuals with innovative solutions to society‘s most pressing problems. They are ambitious and persistent, tackling major social issues and offering new ideas for wide-scale change. Rather than leaving societal needs to the government or business sectors, social entrepreneurs find what is not working and solve the problem by changing the system, spreading the solution, and persuading entire societies to take new leaps.
